I really hope everything turns out ok. The attention from the media is more than just a news story your band is really great and every time I hear your music it makes me happy even at work. I really hope everything can turn up, every last piece of equipment.

Felt terrible when I heard about this. I looked in chicago craigslist for Gretsch, found a listing for a gretsch hollowbody case. It led to this facebook page. http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.117889388240126.15455.117887644906967 No idea if this matches what you're looking for, but I know your bassist plays a P-bass.

Hey found a post for a skb acoustic case, it's pretty ambiguous, but figured it's worth checking out. Hope it helps, you guys are fantastic! http://chicago.craigslist.org/nwc/msg/2540995044.html

Your the last guys on the planet who would deserve something like that. The garage should be held liable. I've also got a custom tele and a couple of tube amps you guys can borrow if needed. Keep your spirits up and the good work. We'll keep an eye out for the stuff up here but it's unlikely that it would come this far north. Better luck on the rest of the tour and have fun overseas.

So sorry to hear this - I know the feeling. My band just had our gear stolen and only by extreme luck did we get it back. It's not right - from what I saw of your set Sunday you guys were kicking ass. Thoughts go out to you guys and hopefully you can get all back and keep on keepin' on. Best of luck.

That is just not right. You guys played your hearts out, and made our Sunday great. For what it's worth my friends are in a band that travels quite a bit. They have gear, instruments, and vehicles to transport it all in. I have no doubt they would let you use it if needed. Thank you all for what you do, and we appreciate you!!!

Hi, Hate what happened, reflects poorly on Chicago - and we're a great city with great people. If it helps, I would like to loan you my Ford Explorer Sportrac if you need wheels getting around. Drive it as much as you like - no cost. Just tell me when you are done and I can pick it up - anywhere. Yes, even Alaska. Also thought you should put the word out to a private detective to find your gear. Have him do it for free and he should receive big dividends by virtue of press. Just a thought. As I live by, every problem is an opportunity. Truly it is.

This is the worst thing to happen to the world since the Bubonic plague...

Hey guys, I heard what happened to your gear and I wanted to see if I could help in some small way. I don't have money that I can give you to buy new gear, but I do have a really nice acoustic guitar that I would like to lend you until you have your gear back, or have the means to build up your gear again (I understand that this may take a long while). I say lend and not out-right give because this guitar has very strong family ties: my Aunt Colleen took this guitar with her around the world and back on her journeys with the Peace Corps in the 1970's and then while she traveled as a musician. She is now a professional Jazz musician with her husband (Primal Mates is their group). When I was 19 Aunt Colleen gave me her guitar in the beat-up case that had traveled the world with her (it is in a slightly-better case now), as my Christmas gift. I have been a percussionist since I was 10 (taught by her husband, he now has his PhD in percussion, pretty awesome, huh?), and do more theatre and singing than guitar playing. So the guitar has been sitting in it's case for several years...instruments are meant to be played. You need instruments in order to play. But this guitar is meant to be passed down the generation line in my family. But this would give the guitar another great story. So gentlemen, I offer you my guitar. I am a fan, I am a Portlander. This is how it should work. Let me know, Maille

I saw this post for a JUNO 106. It's recent as of Monday. I troll craigslist a lot and find it suspect to run into an ad meeting one of your keyboards descriptions so soon after your theft. I'm sorry for your loss. Take care. http://chicago.craigslist.org/chc/msg/2537335166.html

Did you guys already drop off the equipment list in the nearby area of Lollapalooza? I live in South Loop near it. If so, I'll focus on getting it to some further southside pawn shops. I figure most of your fans live north and northwest, so it might be helpful if someone can get them into the southside ones, which are also more likely to have stolen equipment in them.

As a Chicagoan i am sick that this happened in my city. I only hope the people to did this get their karmic retribution sooner than later. thanks for an amazing set at lolla...

I am so sorry to hear about this. I also know there is a long list of equipment that is gone and, that each one of you have sentimental attachment to something if not everything in that trailer. Freaking thieves! Boo on people in this world that take from anyone but, especially traveling musicians. Vulnerable targets. Assholes. What a way to get a group of people stuck between a rock and a hard place. You guys will get new things. Attach yourselves to your new instruments just the same.In time. For the "pieces" that are gone forever. I hope "they" will continue to rock somewhere else as they pass through musics hands. I know one thing. The show must go on... You men have lives to change and music to share. Cling to each other and remember why you are doing this. Not to be a slave to your gear. It is in you. It will be replaced. Aw man I am sorry. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M-vEBmDWzvA Watch the vid.
