    Dear Portugal. The Man,
    You have been my favorite modern band for almost a year now. You guys maintain that trippy/psychedelic sound which I love, while infusing modern influences to create art which has beauty and integrity. "In the Mountain in the Cloud" and "The Satanic Satanist" seem to be the soundtracks of my own life, and touch a spot in my soul of which I was unaware. I play guitar as well, and it's nice to see you guys take your profession so seriously. Your music makes me feel like I'm not alone in this universe.
    But unfortunately, I live in Wisconsin, so the opportunity

I play guitar as well, and it's nice to see you guys take your profession so seriously. Your music makes me feel like I'm not alone in this universe.
But unfortunately, I live in Wisconsin, so the opportunity to see you guys in concert (which would be angelically dream-like) rarely ever arises. When I found out you guys would be at the VIC in Chicago on April 17th, I was ecstatic. But I was only heartbroken to discover that the concert is for only ages 18+, as I will only be 16 by then. If it's not asking too much, it would make my life complete if by some miracle you could allow a couple friends and I the chance to come see you...If not it's completely understandable, and thank you for reading anyway :D Thanks again.

omg I love whoever wrote this, and I totally feel the exact same way. I feel like we are so lucky to know of this band.
